In our final post for #blackhistorymonth, we at the International Game Developers Association (IGDA®) IGDA LGBTQ+ SIG are focussing this week on Black-led organisations in the games industry that you can either support or get involved in. Here we have five organisations for you to check out: Black In Gaming Black Girl Gamers🔜 DICE Summit Las Vegas Black Voices in Gaming POC in Play Game Devs of Color Expo All of these organisations focus on how Black gamers and developers are included in the games industry, fighting for greater levels of representation and inclusion. They also demonstrate how representation feeds in to the narratives that are told and the ways in which characters are developed, directly relating to our experiences of gaming more generally.
