We’re reflecting on an insightful few days at the European Association for Language Testing and Assessment (EALTA) 2026 annual conference in Siena, Italy, where researchers and practitioners from around the world shared how their work is deepening stakeholder understanding of language assessment literacy and helping to shape the future of language assessment. Strengthening language assessment literacy among all stakeholder groups can support fairer decision-making and better outcomes for international applicants.
