With the New Zealand Warriors returning to the NRLW in 2025, Harvey Norman is excited to announce a three-year partnership with the One New Zealand Warriors, focusing on growing and enhancing Women’s Rugby League across the country. Harvey Norman alongside One New Zealand Warriors will be establishing a purpose-built pathways programme for young girls in addition to supporting the NRLW NZ Warriors team and club culture. This initiative will focus on leadership and mentoring the next generation of NRLW Warrior’s players to help them become the next inspiring leaders in their club and community. Katie Page is dedicated to effecting long-term positive change in the lives of girls and women across sport, employment, and education. “Harvey Norman and the NRL hosted an NRLW round-table recently with every NRLW club represented by players both team leaders and emerging stars. This landmark partnership started that day, in that room. Together, Warriors players Harata Butler and Emily Curtain were a powerful voice. They wanted to know how they could build the women’s game across New Zealand. They were taking personal responsibility for fan engagement and grassroots participation – it wasn’t about them. It was about the team, the club, and the game. Their energy and determination were compelling. We know how our Harvey Norman grassroots programmes build both the pathways and the talent pool.” Harata Butler attended the Women in League roundtable representing New Zealand Warriors and is excited to see what Katie Page and Harvey Norman are doing for Women’s Rugby League. “What Harvey Norman does throughout the women’s game is amazing. We were so grateful to be involved and to share in great conversations about the future for the women’s game.
