Dreamdata's benchmark shows it takes 219 - 320 days from first touch to revenue. So if you’re using LinkedIn's default conversion tracking window of 30 days… you’re blind to most conversions the platform is influencing 😬 8/10 of the accounts we audit at KlientBoost - The Performance Marketing Agency have BIG conversion tracking issues, like 👇🏻 Using default conversion windows (click & view) ❌ No CRM data connection ❌ No true demand gen, just demand capture ❌ What actually matters is cost per customer, and that means tracking all the way down to MQLs, SQLs, Opps, and Closed/Won. This visual breaks it down step-by-step: 👉🏻 Pinpoint the problem (not just the symptom) 👉🏻 Check if you’re even seeing pipeline metrics 👉🏻 Fix your CRM tracking loop 👉🏻 Expand your attribution window to match real buying journeys 👉🏻 Optimize based on cost per customer, not just CPL When you fix your tracking, you suddenly start seeing the leading indicators lead to your most important one... Revenue 💰

Marketing @ KlientBoost - The Performance Marketing Agency

You don't need to choose between brand marketing and performance marketing. Here's how we're delivering short term wins and building brand at the same time: Tactic 1: Reach & Recall Campaigns Stop optimising for conversions on every LinkedIn Ads campaign. Instead, optimise for reach and target a full market segment. We're hitting 80% audience penetration and 10+ frequency every 90 days. We've closed close to $500K of deals in the last 90 days from "cold" audiences using this tactic. Tactic 2: Category Entry Point Content Map the moments when prospects think about your solution. This is most often pains, gains, and jobs to be done. Here are some of ours as an example: ↳ Current agency isn't proactive enough ↳ Their ads aren't generating any pipeline ↳ New CMO needs an agency they can trust Create content around these moments so: ↳ In-market prospects contact you today ↳ Out-market prospects remember you tomorrow Tactic 3: High-Intent Retargeting Only Stop retargeting everyone who's interacted with your marketing. It's a waste of budget. Instead, ONLY target prospects with real buying intent. For us, that's typically: ↳ Service, pricing, or marketing plan page visitors ↳ LinkedIn page visitors + 97%+ video viewers ↳ Prospects who visited us on review sites Always add job title and industry filters so retargeting audiences match your target segment. Here's the truth: Cold prospects will buy from you today. They'll do after reading ads that also build awareness. The brands winning long-term aren't choosing between brand and performance. They're running both and letting it compound. 🤘

What if website traffic collapsing is the best thing to happen to B2B marketing? Hear me out. Everyone's panicking about organic traffic falling off a cliff. Ahrefs named it "crocodile mouth" because impressions are rising, but clicks are down. Bad. Imo, this is the best thing to happen to marketers in years because most of that traffic never mattered anyway. We know a healthy chunk of those visitors have zero buying intent, especially if the content strategy focused on informational “what is” content. Traffic decline is forcing the right question: "Which visitors actually matter?" We stopped paying attention to website traffic altogether earlier in this year, and instead made ICP company traffic one of our two main marketing KPIs. We now track: → How many ICP companies visit our site each month → Which channels drive the highest ICP traffic percentage → What it costs to get each ICP visitor (iCPC™) The last one, iCPC™️ (ICP cost per click), is a new KlientBoost metric to track how much it costs to get each ICP visitor from a paid channel. It helps us make better decisions on where to put our paid ads budget. For example, we had 272 visits from ICP companies from paid social in September and spent $12k on that channel. So, our iCPC™️ = $91 for each paid social visitor. The leadership team sees one traffic graph now: ICP visitors. And it’s our main predictor of future pipeline. Curious about what metrics other marketers are using to track traffic these days. Have you made the switch from total traffic to qualified traffic? — P.S. Patrick Cummingwrote all about how to track ICP company traffic in last week’s KlientBoost Kitchen newsletter. I’ll drop a link to it in the comments 👇)

Website traffic is a pointless marketing KPI. Here's the reality: ↳ 50% of web traffic is bots ↳ Ad platforms are pushing low-quality inventory ↳ More website traffic ≠ more pipeline The KPI that ACTUALLY grows your business? ICP company traffic. Or, as I like to call it: Future pipeline. (Hint: that's how to sell it to your CEO and CFO too 😉) You don't need more website visitors. You need more potential buyers. Optimising for ICP company traffic is how you get it. We just dropped the full walkthrough on our KlientBoost Kitchen YouTube channel. You'll also learn: ↳ How to calculate ICP cost per click (iCPC™) ↳ How to find the optimal budget split for ICP traffic ↳ How to pitch and present ICP traffic to executives ↳ Why fewer KPIs = better performance and focus Hit the link to watch: https://lnkd.in/eUR6QDrm 🤘

Are you still relying only on HubSpot’s native enrichment? At KlientBoost, we did too. But truthfully, we only leaned on employee count and annual revenue when defining our ICP. We wanted to keep the net wide. Enter Clay → a tool that lets you unlock way more signals and run scoring logic right inside the platform. Here’s my workflow: 1️⃣ A prospect submits a HubSpot form (first name, last name, email, domain) 2️⃣ Data gets pushed to Clay via a HubSpot workflow (webhook) 3️⃣ Basic email validation runs inside Clay → if the email is invalid, you can even skip enrichment (saves credits) 4️⃣ Clay enriches the data with dozens of signals (only for valid emails) 5️⃣ Clay calculates the score based on my defined model 6️⃣ The enriched + scored record syncs back to HubSpot for routing & follow-up up 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘆: → CRM in use (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.) - strong indicator they’re willing to invest in efficiency → Funding stage (Claygent) - shows their capacity to spend and growth potential → Industry (via LinkedIn) - helps define relevance to our ICP → Key LinkedIn profiles + titles from their org - identifies decision-makers and influencers → Monthly organic traffic - indicates company reach and online presence → # of ads per paid platform - signals marketing spend and readiness to invest Instead of relying on “employee count + revenue,” Clay gives us a dynamic scoring model that’s sharper, faster, and way closer to what an ideal prospect actually looks like. What’s one enrichment signal you always include in your scoring model?

  • Website traffic is a vanity metric. Here's what smart B2B marketers are tracking instead in 2025 👇️ The problem with traditional traffic metrics: → 50% of your traffic comes from bots (!!!) → Most visitors have zero buying intent or budget → Ad platforms push low-quality inventory that inflates numbers but kills pipeline This week's KlientBoost Kitchen episode breaks down why ICP company traffic is the metric that actually predicts future pipeline. Patrick Cumming walks through the exact recipe for how to: → Track which companies match your ideal customer profile → Calculate true channel efficiency with iCPC™️ (ICP Cost Per Click) → Present these metrics to executives in a way that gets budget approved 🔗 Watch the full ep over on the KlientBoost Kitchen channel 👉️ asmbly.link/zprhb4b — P.S Shout out to Dreamdata for helping us level up our attribution strategy this year 🤝
