Forget $100K. Can you get ONE person to pay you $50? That's basically the only question that matters when you're starting out. Don't worry about funnels. Or which tool to pick. Or which platform. Just go find one person who you can help and will pay you. I've seen far too many people waste far too much time doing anything other than that one simple thing. And twelve months later, they're burned out and haven't made one darn sale. Because they skipped the only step that mattered: Finding one person with a problem they'd pay to solve. When I started seven years ago, I made the exact same mistake, too. I had all of these big plans. Whiteboarded complex funnels. Had a multi-channel, holistic "strategy." After that failed, I stripped it all back and asked one question: "Who has a problem I can solve this week?" I found one person. Charged them money. And delivered the result. Remember: $100K (or any big number) is just one small sale, repeated and refined. But you can't repeat it if you've never even done it once. If you're stuck in planning mode, stop. Find one person. Solve their problem. Charge them money. I built a free 30-day system to help you get that very first sale. It's called The Expert OS. One short video per day. My templates, sequences, and prompts. Everything you need to get your first paying customer in 30 days. Start day 1: https://lnkd.in/ezT6vcCv There's never been a better day to get started.

Someone teaching financial management for embalmers just crossed $10K. Read that again. Not business coaching for "entrepreneurs." Financial training for people who work in funeral homes. Every profession has someone struggling with the same problem you solved. The question is whether you'll be the one to help them.

You're trying to build a business, but you can't stop thinking about your own bills, your own stress, your own needs that aren't being met yet. James Wedmore gets it. He was a broke bartender for four and a half years before anything worked. But here's what he figured out: when you're focused on getting yours first, the money never comes. You have to flip it. Focus on what someone else desperately needs. Solve that problem so well they can't wait to pay you for it. That's when your needs get met. James has been doing this for nearly 20 years. He's generated more than $80 million in sales by teaching people how to scale. Today, his business brings in $12 million per year because he obsesses over giving people something worth way more than what they paid. If you're stuck wondering why your business isn't growing, this conversation will show you what you're probably missing. The two numbers that actually matter. Why your mindset is keeping you broke. How he sold out a program in 35 seconds. Watch the series finale of Creator Commerce with James Wedmore here: https://lnkd.in/gNcz_t7Q

James Wedmore spent four and a half years as a broke bartender trying to make something work online. Nothing happened. Then he launched a program that made $400,000 overnight. The previous entire year, he'd made $20,000 total. But the money didn't fix anything. He fell into a depression. What pulled him out wasn't the revenue. It was the first student who said the training actually worked and got their first client. That was nearly 20 years ago. Today, his business generates $12 million per year, with more than $80 million in total sales, simply teaching people how to scale. The series finale of Creator Commerce drops tomorrow. Stay tuned for the full episode.

I know a lot of smart, broke people. They know everything except how to get paid. Meanwhile, someone with half their experience is outearning them 10x. Why? One figured out how to package what they know. I learned this the hard way. When I left corporate in 2019, I had 16 years of expertise and no idea how to turn it into income. No offer. Tiny audience. No clue how to get started. It took me thousands of dumb mistakes to figure it all out. Most people get demoralized long before they see success, and that's why they quit. I don't want that for you. So today, I'm launching the thing I wish I had back on day 1. It's called The Expert OS. A free 30-day operating system that takes you from "I know stuff" to "people pay me for what I know." This product is part of my new partnership with Kajabi, and we're giving it away. By day 30, you'll validate that strangers are willing to pay for the stuff you already know. No theory. No guru nonsense. Just my blueprint to real revenue. Here's what you'll get inside: - My "bleeding neck" framework for $100K ideas. - My $12M+ plug-and-play sales page template. - My 10-email launch sequence that sells. - 10+ AI prompts to speed up your build. - A free 30-day Kajabi trial to build it all. I built an 8-figure business from my expertise. This is the foundation of that system. Start Day 1 → https://lnkd.in/ezT6vcCv

Conar Fair says you don't need to wait until you've mastered something to share what you're learning along the way. He built a $14 million education business teaching content strategy by being open about his process. His advice: people are eager to learn alongside you. Sharing your journey as you figure things out creates connection that polished expertise sometimes can't. He and his two best friends went from running a video production agency to teaching 150,000 students. They learned by doing—experimenting with campaigns for major brands, then realizing a five-minute TikTok outperformed their most expensive work. That discovery became what they teach. Conar's take on monetization: digital products over brand deals. Full creative control. Better long-term ROI. You own the business, not just the transaction. Watch today's Creator Commerce episode to hear how the One Peak Creative team built an eight-figure business by sharing their expertise as they developed it—and why documenting your journey matters more than waiting until everything is perfect. Conar Fair and his two best friends started a video production company making ads for major brands. Their best campaign got 250,000 views. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively commented on it. Then they posted a five-minute TikTok. 1 million views overnight. 👏 That's when they realized the formula was more valuable than the service. So they pivoted to teaching it. Today, One Peak Creative has 150,000 students and has generated $14 million on Kajabi. Tomorrow's Creator Commerce episode covers how they made the shift from agency work to education business. Stay tuned for the link.

She never looks at her competition. 👀 Julia Broome spent seven years managing social media for celebrities. Full blinders when scrolling—if she sees anyone doing similar work, she scrolls right past. Why? She wants her audience to know they heard it from her first. That mindset helped her go from manual client work to nearly $1M in two years on Kajabi, teaching what she knows. Today’s episode of Creator Commerce: how she turned years of behind-the-scenes work into multiple revenue streams. Watch it here: https://lnkd.in/gwhHxhyA
