Duni Group and Relevo behind Munich’s circular initiative ✨ The German city of Munich is launching the ReMuc – “Ois im Kreis” project, a new system for reusable food containers. Behind the digital solution is Relevo by Duni, majority-owned by Duni Group. ReMuc is a five-year initiative that makes reuse convenient and accessible. Five automated return stations will be placed at Viktualienmarkt – Munich’s most famous food market. Customers purchase food or drinks in a reusable container, return it to a station, and receive their deposit back. Relevo by Duni manages deposits, returns, and traceability in a single interface. “Single-use solutions have been the default for good reasons: flexibility, convenience, and hygiene. They will continue to matter. What ReMuc demonstrates is equally important: reuse can work at scale, in real life. Our hope is that this encourages more cities to pilot and adopt similar systems”, says Nicklas Lauwell, Chief Officer, Food Packaging Solutions, Duni Group. Read the press release, link in comments.

Meet Bea Husberg, intern in the People & Culture department ✨ During the fall Bea Husberg has interned in the People & Culture team, at Duni Group’s headquarter in Malmö. ✨What kind of projects or tasks did you work on during your internship? “I had the opportunity to gain insight into almost all areas within People & Culture. Some of the projects I contributed to included recruitment processes, participation in the career fair at Lund University, organizing study visits for high school students, and helping to structure and improve existing file systems.” “Most importantly, I was involved in developing and enhancing existing processes at Duni Group, such as the local onboarding process.” ✨How was your experience? “The biggest challenge has been to adapt to a completely new culture and organizational system within a short period of time. I was also introduced to several digital platforms, tools I had not worked with before.” “However, from day one, I felt warmly welcomed and truly part of the team. It was an incredible experience to meet so many new people and to be part of Duni Group as a company. I have learned so much in so short period of time and will take many valuable lessons with me into both my studies and future career.” ✨What are your key takeaways from your time at Duni Group? “One of the most important takeaways is the practical experience I gained, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world tasks and understanding how HR work functions in practice. I have also developed confidence and a sense of responsibility by taking ownership of projects, which has helped me grow professionally. Finally, I had the chance to build a strong network.” Now Bea is returning to her studies, and her final semester of the Human Resources program at Halmstad University. Thank you, Bea, for all your great work, and best of luck! #DuniGroup

Duni Group Launches Packaging Series with Enhanced Performance and Reduced Climate Impact ✨ Octaview® is a new packaging range for cold dishes designed to improve recyclability and lower climate impact. Made from APET, the packaging features a grey base instead of black, making it detectable in optical sorting systems and therefore easier to recycle. At the same time, the design has been updated to deliver better performance and presentation. ”Octaview® is designed to meet customers’ need for sustainable solutions that work in practice. By combining improved recyclability with a design that highlights the food and simplifies handling, we demonstrate that sustainability and functionality can go hand in hand”, says Nicklas Lauwell, Chief Officer Food Packaging Solutions, Duni Group. #DuniGroup #Octaview

What Is a Value Chain – and Why Does It Matter? ✨ The value chain consists of a number of companies closely connected through the active choice of working together. The better choices we make and the better partners we find – the more attractive we become to our customers. Compared to ten years ago, the amount of information shared along the value chain has grown exponentially. Why? Regulatory demands, but also global companies’ ambitions to know more about their supply chain and suppliers. Watch the video to hear our Sustainability Director Erik Lindroth explain more. #DuniGroup
