Often, we focus on our past lives and who we were, and the karma we brought with us into this life. But I am more interested in who I am going to be, because who I am going to be is being created and imprinted out of how I am now, from my thoughts and my behaviour. So I am setting my trajectory into the future, which can be a really beautiful thing. Instead of fixating on who we were, Richard asks: Who are we becoming? With humour and lightness, he reminds us that, whether or not it is true, reincarnation can be embraced as a healthy narrative – one that broadens our horizons, eases our fear of death and gives us the freedom to consciously seed the future.
