  • 🌟 At GEA, leadership is a journey we cultivate. Today for tomorrow. 🌱 Our NextGen Leaders Program gives high-potential colleagues a one-year experience to develop the skills, insights and confidence to step into their future roles. Leadership development goes beyond classroom learning. It is rigorously and intentionally shaped through reflection, coaching, feedback, strong networks, active engagement and exposure. It’s a rare chance to be supported by an employer that invests in your growth, promotes from within and truly prepares its people for the next step in their careers. 🚀 📸 Photos were taken at a late-November business development simulation in Düsseldorf. #LeadershipDevelopment #CareerGrowth #engineeringforabetterworld

  • 🌱 Yesterday at the Compass for Europe Summit, our CEO Stefan Klebert joined a panel discussion marking the launch of 𝐶𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝑊𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑠: 𝑆𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑆𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑦 𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑃𝑢𝑡𝑠 𝐶𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝐹𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 – a new book by IMD Business School professors Goutam Challagalla and Frédéric Dalsace from Harvard Business Review Press. It explores what sets companies apart that successfully turn sustainability into a competitive advantage. We're honored that GEA is featured as a best practice example. 📘 The book's core insight resonates closely with how we think about our business: Clean Winners don't ask "How can we be more sustainable?" – they ask "How can sustainability help us build better products, improve efficiency, and create more value for customers?" 👉🏽 At GEA, this means engineering solutions that help food, beverage and pharma producers reduce their energy, water and resource use – driving both environmental impact and operational performance. Thanks to fellow panelists Frédéric Dalsace, Christophe Beck (Ecolab), Ezgi Barcenas (L’Oréal) and moderator Peter Vanham for the engaging exchange. #engineeringforabetterworld

🥬🔬 New food didn’t make so many headlines in 2025 – but a lot happened beneath the surface. Approvals moved forward, pilot lines came online and food biotech quietly shifted from bold promises to real infrastructure. 🏭 Hear from Frederieke Reiners, head of GEA’s New Food business, about where food biotech stands today – from regulation and investment to the technologies that are actually scaling. 👉 Flip through the infographics for the story at a glance; the full interview connects the dots: https://go.gea/44N

  • In Apfeldorfhausen, Bavaria, Germany, a #dairy farm with around 𝟭𝟮𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝘀 🐄 is demonstrating how modern #milking technology can support the regional energy transition. As part of the “𝗞𝘂𝗵𝗹-𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲” project, the 𝗚𝗘𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 contributes to an integrated and efficient energy concept. Dairy farmer Thomas Schertich and his cows produce approximately 𝟯,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 of milk each day using the milking robot. The waste heat generated during the process is captured and reused – first on the farm itself and, in the future, as part of a 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 supplying nearby homes and the village. Beyond efficient milking, the DairyRobot already helps reduce 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The project also highlights the broader sustainability potential of #automation in agriculture, not only for individual farms but for entire rural regions. According to the farmer, optimized milk cooling alone saves around 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗪𝗵 of electricity per year. 📺 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: The video is in German. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 are available on YouTube under 𝑆𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 → 𝑆𝑢𝑏𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑙𝑒𝑠. 👉 Watch the TV feature by BR - Bayerischer Rundfunk to learn more about the project.t: https://go.gea/44w

Big things are brewing in precision fermentation! 🧫✨ At GEA, we've teamed up with Bio Fermentation Factory (BFF) to deliver a new precision fermentation line at BFF’s open-access facility on the NIZO campus in Ede, Netherlands. The partnership will give start-ups and scale-ups a place to test, refine and scale their production processes. By pairing GEA’s process expertise with BFF’s hands-on test environment, we’re helping accelerate the future of alternative proteins and sustainable food production. 🌱 📸 Images: A 3D rendering of the BFF food-grade pilot line, plus pictures from the NIZO campus in Ede, where the open-access pilot line will be installed. #precisionfermentation #foodtech

Always great to see fellow GEA colleagues connect and celebrate around the globe. 🌍 A nice example from Mexico, where the team shared 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑐𝑎 𝑑𝑒 𝑅𝑒𝑦𝑒𝑠 and hot chocolate on Jan. 6 – bringing local tradition, teamwork and a bit of suspense (who’s bringing the tamales? 😉) into the workday.
