We make the library experience seamless for over 30,000 libraries worldwide.
About us
For over 50 years, Bibliotheca has partnered with libraries to meet the needs of their communities worldwide. Things are changing at lightning speed. It’s time to imagine what a library can do—what a library can be—today and tomorrow. Libraries are competing with the best in consumer technologies and can’t afford to stick with the status quo. At Bibliotheca, we aren’t just keeping up with the times, we’re inventing the future. Through integrated technology, we reimagine how libraries function to inspire and delight all kinds of people, wherever they are. Bibliotheca works with 30,000 libraries around the globe to make the library experience seamless, intuitive, and inclusive. We work wonders for library staff, too. As degreed librarians and avid library users, we understand not only the unique management challenges that libraries face, but also what the future of library service will demand. We pair global insight with strong local support, so no matter where you are, we’ve got a team nearby to help you make sure your library is ready.

Teşekkürler, Türkiye! 🇹🇷 We’re grateful to our official partner in Türkiye, Gemini Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş., for proudly representing Bibliotheca at ANKOS in Istanbul. The event took place at the impressive Presidential Nation’s Library, one of our valued customers featuring Bibliotheca solutions such as self-service kiosks, security gates, and flex bookDrop — all helping create smooth and welcoming experiences for visitors. A special thank-you as well to our Regional Sales Manager, Stefania Salocchi, for connecting with library professionals and strengthening our partnerships across the region. Together, we continue shaping the future of libraries in Türkiye and beyond! #ANKOSLink2025

Academic libraries are evolving fast, but many still rely on 20-year-old barcode systems. RFID is changing that: faster checkouts, accurate inventory, and less manual work. See how universities are making the switch: https://hubs.la/Q03RRRPQ0

What do you do with 18,000 square feet of wasted space? Redford Township District Library in Michigan turned unused storage into something extraordinary: a bright new Children’s Department filled with butterflies, murals, and climbing tunnels. At the entrance, our selfChecks with integrated return bins handle 94% of checkouts, freeing staff for meaningful interactions. Since reopening, circulation has reached its highest point in a decade. More time for what matters most: the community. Read the full library story: https://bit.ly/47oQhMO

This Halloween hits different when your library gets creative. 🎃 Licking County Library in Ohio used their new selfCheck 3000s with uniFi+ displays to deck out their branches this season. Literary Monsters in Downtown Newark, Family Story Time in Lakewood — they’re using their screens to spread the word about all the spooky programming. Pretty cool to see what creativity + technology can do together. The Licking County team gets it. 👻

We spent Tuesday morning volunteering at the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Stone Mountain location. Our team helped stock shelves, unload pallets, bag groceries, and assist families to their cars. In total, 88 families came through the pantry, and we distributed 7,768 pounds of food, the equivalent of 6,473 meals! It was a great morning filled with good conversation, friendly faces, and the rewarding feeling of giving back.
