Making cloud native ubiquitous
About us
Cloud native computing uses an open source software stack to deploy applications as microservices, packaging each part into its own container, and dynamically orchestrating those containers to optimize resource utilization. The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) hosts critical components of those software stacks including Kubernetes and Prometheus; brings together the industry’s top developers, end users, and vendors; and serves as a neutral home for collaboration. CNCF is part of The Linux Foundation.

CNL: Calico v3.30 - Securing Cloud Native Apps with Kubernetes Gateway API In this session we'll walk through deploying a cloud cluster the Calico Ingress Gateway, configuring Gateway, HTTPRoute, and understanding its powerful capabilities, including HTTPS redirects and cross-namespace routing. We will also use cert-manger to generate a valid SSL certificate for our demo website. By the end of this session, you should be able to deploy a secure web application in the cloud, on the ground, or possibly even on your smart fridge (though high traffic might make your fridge run hotter).
