March monthly CiviCRM Snapshot is out! https://lnkd.in/eR33eyZn We saw some improvement in the overall scorecard, largely driven by significant ecosystem growth. Still, we’re running an annoying, small, close-able gap in our budget. The risk here is that we’ll put core priorities on the backburner while we focus on earned income (up just a bit now to 42% of our budget) to close this gap. This puts other priorities ahead of our own, which means that many larger, foundational improvements slow down. We’re seeing this already with the River Framework, for example. As of this moment, this awesome new theme framework (which is in use with over 3,000 orgs) lacks funding to take it to the next level. Imagine improved accessibility, in-app style customizer, improved mobile functionality, and more, all waiting to be implemented! The takeaway here is that we’ve seen an overall improvement, but not enough to shift the current trends of suspending new developments in favor of earned income (client-driven prioritization). This is our big challenge (and pretty much always has been). There is a solution, though. Greater support from end user organizations. If your organization relies on CiviCRM and wants it to continue to improve, you should support our efforts by becoming a member: https://lnkd.in/eNk9dvhr
