This woman works harder than anyone I’ve ever seen, she is wicked smart, always comes with an open curious mind looking to improve every day, pushes back at just the right moments, leads her team with heart, passion, and ruthless discipline. And she’s one of my favorite humans to be around. And I’m not the only one who feels this way!. I simply can’t imagine being on this journey with anyone else. Customer love is off the charts! Only shared the wins, the polished moments, the highlight reel. But here’s the truth: the real magic has always been in the struggle. So this year, I’m opening up. All of it. The sleepless nights wondering if I was enough. The failures that brought me to my knees. The moments I wanted to quit but somehow didn’t. The lessons that only came through tears. The mistakes that still make me cringe. But also—the unexpected joys. The belly laughs. The people who showed up when I needed them most. I never thought I’d get a second chance to build something meaningful. Honestly? There were days I wasn’t sure I deserved one. But here I am. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. We hit 2x revenue targets. If I had to pick one reason why. It’s simply Katie Nocerino (Hillman) I don’t know how to start this post, because what I’ve experienced this past year feels incredibly rare. I’ve hired hundreds of people over my career, and I can say with complete certainty: Katie is simply the best! There’s nobody like her. Nobody who works harder, brings more positivity, or shows more tenacity. She’s wicked smart, pushes back at exactly the right moments, makes me my best self, comes so prepared for every moment (board meetings to sales calls) and is an absolute joy to be around. And on top of all that? She absolutely crushes her job. She has the role that’s objectively the most measurable across the company. And when I say “crushes,” I don’t mean she met her goals. She hit our number for the entire year within six months with no marketing team! In that year, we’ve exceeded our revenue goals by more than 2x!. Some people say I play favorites with you, but it’s really just objective truth: I’m obsessed with people who work incredibly hard and get the job done every single time. And to think—we’re only getting started. Katie, I can’t believe you’ve only been here for one year. No one else I’d rather be on this journey with. I’ve learned so much working with you. I feel joy when I see we have a 1:1. I know you are going to share something exciting you are cooking up. You have built and cultivated an incredible A++++ team! All on track to blow past their quotas! Thank you for choosing us every day, Katie.
