After the death of her friend, a high school senior finds first love with the pastor's daughter.
Very Christian, realizing you're queer cliché, questioning the system and expectations with which you've been raised with no choice. But sweet, especially when they're actually acting like high school kids their age and upbringing. Though, certainly not all the is convincing, and there's definitely parents cringe.
The part at the end of this is so over-done cliché that it's kind of awesome: golden hour defiance makeout, organ starts blaring, and camera rotating, obviously fake rain queued to instantly begin pouring down on them. I just started laughing. It felt like a fourth wall break was coming or something in the non-subtlety.
