There's no way that a TV show this stressful should be so delightful to watch. From its beautifully neat aesthetic and gentle melodies at the best of times to the absolute mess and chaos when the... stuff hits the fan, The Bear is relentless in its efforts to make the viewer FEEL things. That's a rarity these days, as is the fact that this show puts out a new season every year, which is just fantastic for those who can't stand waiting for more. And that's exactly what'll happen once you start The Bear; you'll be wanting MORE! It's like Boiling Point but more fun and slightly less intense.

My favourite comedy that's obviously not a comedy.
Don't let the awards fool you. The Bear is about as funny as a real grizzly attack, and there are no actual bears to be found in this show either. But if you can get past all the lies and deception, there's still a phenomenal series to get to grips with here. Each episode is like a shot of adrenaline delivered straight to the heart by the loudest, shoutiest people you'll ever meet, yet you end up loving them all regardless. A stressful binge, yes, but a delectable, award-worthy one too. Just don't watch it ahead of Thanksgiving, or you might just end up cancelling the entire dinner.
