Synopsis: Richard Ryan, attorney, patent investigator, engineer, was a man with clients ranging from the United States government to corporations at the forefront of technological development. His clients valued him for his unique ability to sense deceit, especially in the form of scientific cover-ups. Some thought his talent was empathy, some clairvoyance or telepathy, but Ryan himself would only admit to a well-developed power of observation.
Then Ryan was hired to uncover the source of some incredible scientific breakthroughs, and he stumbled on a truth he couldn't deny. For Richard Ryan did indeed have a special kind of mind power - a power which could open the way to communication with the first emissary from the stars! But was this alien ambassador offering humanity the riches of the universe - or the trigger for Earth's destruction?
