  • Notes: Dec. 1942←Mar. 1943→Sep. 1943 Vol. V, No. 3. The editor is not credited but Mary Gnaedinger signs the editorial. According to Sam Moskowitz in and article appearing in the November 1965 issue of "Worlds of Tomorrow", "Ark of Fire" contains a scene written by Finlay that he wanted to use as the basis for an illustration when the story was initially published in "The American Weekly". It is not known whether the art in this magazine is reprinted from that appearance.
