Note: Elinore Blaisdell is known for illustrating many books, both children's books and non-fiction books. She also wrote several books, and won the 1939 "Julia Ellsworth Ford" award from the South Dakota Library Commission for her book "Falcon, Fly Back". The books "Eleanor of Aquitaine" (1937) and "With Sword and Song" (1937) were written by Melrich V. Rosenberg and illustrated by Elinore Blaisdell, who is also credited as "Elinore B. Rosenberg" in the former and "Elinore Blaisdell Rosenberg" in the latter, so it is likely that this was her husband, with Blaisdell being her maiden name.
