The bride and groom, Alton Sheffield and Kenya Jackson, grew up on different sides of the tracks. Their two families meet for the first time at the wedding, creating a collision of class and status, as a meddling mother-in-law (Freda Payne), feuding bridesmaids (Emayatzy Corinealdi, Hayley Marie Norman) and the father of the groom's mistress (Debra Wilson) set off a series of awkward and hilarious events that might just derail the proceedings.
