Olive and Mocha is an irreverent coming of age tale that reflects on the childhood of a goodie two shoes and a troublemaker who join forces to survive growing up in the eighties. The story is seen through the eyes of young and worried OLIVE DIMPFLE (8), whose parents have recently thrust her into a school in the big city. This is where she meets her new B.F.F. MOCHA LEWELLEN (8), a girl without much parenting whose fearless nature will give Olive the confidence she needs to survive during the hours when no parents are around to protect her; on the bus, at recess and between the hours of 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Their friendship will define them in their early years and get them into a crapload of trouble.
