Welcome to YoungOneStudio, a vibrant reflection of my journey in the performing arts. Originating from Perth, Western Australia, I began my path at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a passion for acting and music. Over the past two decades, I have performed and directed on stages across Australia and internationally, collaborating with peers from institutions like the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and the Victorian College of the Arts. In 2015, I launched YoungOneStudio in Melbourne, honing my skills as an actor and earning acclaim as a theatre director. In 2018, I moved to Los Angeles to explore film and digital media, mastering cinematography to enhance my directorial communication and elicit compelling performances from actors. This focus has led to directing and filming award-winning projects featured on platforms like HBO MAX and NETFLIX. My work has received international recognition, with awards from prestigious festivals such as the Festival de Cannes, the Berlin Film Festival, and the New York Film Festival. Now based in North Hollywood, having written, filmed, and directed over 100 scenes and worked with hundreds of LA-based actors, I continue to lead YoungOneStudio. I advocate for contemporary artists to excel in acting, cinematography, and directing, empowering them to shape narratives profoundly.
