'Clapstick' is the story of the struggles, exploitation and darkness that exists behind the glamour of the film industry. Mr. Basu is a critically acclaimed filmmaker who has to run after producers to produce his film. Alo is a popular actress but she is a puppet in the hands of her hero. He ruins her career when she goes against him. Jhimli is a small town girl looking for a break but is not ready to compromise. The film traces their lives and how they either compromise or are able to win against odds.
