M. Night Shymalan is shamelessly promoting his daughter's career. Half the movie is staged as a concert strictly to promote her singing career. The second half showcases some horrible acting on her part. Is it possible that M. Night Shymalan is unable to see what a horrible actress she is? As for Josh Hartnet his character does not ring true. He's unconvincing as a "good guy" and even worse as a bad guy. The situations throughout the movie are totally implausible. Every scene requires the viewer to suspend belief in order to engage with the characters. This is the worst M. Night Shymalan movie ever. It's so bad I'm not sure I'll ever watch another of his movies. Really sad.
One of the best series I've seen! Great storyline about worldwide, government hacking and how easy it is for terrorists to infiltrate government systems. The characters are believable, the plot is fascinating and quite suspenseful. The end of episode six came far too soon and ended with a cliffhanger I sure hope Peacock continues the series with a second season.
Lost City was very disappointing. The acting was stilted, the plot awful and the characters (Bullock & Tatum) as a love interest didn't work -zero chemistry between them. Brad Pitt would have been far more effective as leading man (instead of having cameo role) and might have helped fix the plot problems. Romancing the Stone was a great movie. Lost City never came close. I expected so much more from Sandra Bullick.
