  • Sad movie with great actor performances

This movie is about the Hungarian elementary school system and its inflexibility. During this it gives also a detailed picture about the current Hungarian society.

I have two sons currently studying at elementary schools and the picture presented by the movie is extremely correct. The excellent teatcher who gets fired because of some political stuff, the old ladies gossiping in the teatchers room, the autocratic headmaster, the handywork teatcher who can not operate a computer etc. The movie also has a lot of funny moments, tragic but at the same time funny.. However I found it rather sad, because my older son got bullied and cathegorized as a black sheep by the teatchers in his previous schools. They got rid of him after 6 months. So I couldn't laugh. The actors performances are very good, considering many of them are children or just amateurs. Its a movie worth watching.

  • Not a horror movie

I wasted one and a half hours of my life to watch this movie, I'm pretty angry. So, I like horror movies, this is not one. It manages to build up some atmosphere but its far from horror or sci-fi.

If you are looking for a decent plot with good characters, you better avoid this one.

If you are looking for symbolism, gender issues, teenager uncertainity and angst, you are right here.

However the movie is good in one thing: teasing you. Until 15 minutes before ending it teases you into believing it could finally turn out as a low budget fantasy / sci-fi. But this is just bait, nothing really happens.

    Overall, better avoid this film.
