  • Dumbest movie ever

This has to be the dumbest movie on the planet.

It's just Tom Cruises personal pleasure of trying to be James Bond with a handful of British women running around him while he pursues a dumb mission and failing at ever turn.

Even the action set pieces couldn't save it.

The plot is wafer thin as they usually are. Either he is running after an antidote or a USB stick or a key.

The action scenes seem to be devised first and a thin plot woven around it. A lot of action scenes copied from Bond. Pierce Brosnan handcuffed to a lady both trying to escape kn a motorbike.

Or Brosnan jumping off a cliff on a bike at the start of Golden Eye. This is Cruise trying to make his dreams come true.

  • Really didn't care

I switched off after 15 minutes of be patronised. I hated that they expect you to be invested into a story of a woman gone missing that you really couldn't care less about.

They need to help build the picture up first make the audience feel something important has happened.

And all 4 kids look the exact same age. The casting is very careless with all focus on the two leads. Bizarre. And casting big names to see if it pulls in the viewers is cheating. Typical US style over substance. They need to take leaf out of Scandinavian, Korean or British drama where characters are key and where plot is key not style and A list actors etc.

  • Love Actually wannabe

Totally forced emotions. Throwing a huge star cast in the mix with very little genuine care for characters. Director had a Love Actually hangover.

Almost felt disjointed and the viewer could get up and go to the toilet, come back and not really miss anything important and still continue watching.

The reliance was purely on the star names to carry the movie heavily on their shoulders only. Too soundtrack heavy too, almost drowning out dialogue. Terrible movie only given 3 stars at the effort of coordinating so many big names into one movie.

However, in the end you couldn't care less about the movie. I turned off and watched Love Actually instead !
