It was craptactular really a shiny piece of poop with dare I say, glitter on top.It was like someone was playing a really bad joke on Mariah. Who ever wrote this for her HATED her truly. You have to watch it though out of morbid curiosity.Really though, I felt bad because I really liked Mariah it made me feel bad for her.I wonder why the people who advise her or her friends and family didn't come clean with her to let her know just how bad it was. It had a lot of cliché tired out stuff in it, it reminded me of those movies that came out about break dancing like Breakin(1984)after it wasn't cool anymore.Out dated corny as that movie was there was a sequel there better never be a glitter 2 I hope.Britany got a better movie handed to her then this one and it wasn't great so if that tells you anything.
OK if you have seen Tombstone and have half a brain you wonder why the heck this movie didn't get more attention in it's time. Then, along comes Wyatt Erap and they promote the hell out of it and it sucked. Natuarlly being fans of Tombstone we had to check it out.I was not expecting much from Kevin Costner you seen one of his movies you seen them all.It was crap and it didn't compare in the least to Tombstone. Tombstone was awesome I am a big fan of Western movies.Val did a great job portraying Doc Holiday he's always been a virtual acting chameleon. Favorite scene besides all Doc's banter is in the first 5 minutes when he clears out The Oriental and bitch slaps Billy Bob Thornton and says fav quote "you gonna do something or are you just gonna stand their and bleed".You gotta watch this movie if you like westerns or action movies it's sorta of a guy movie but it's one of my all time favorites and I'm a chic in case you hadn't guessed. I heart Kurt Russell and Val "sexy" Killmer.
This doesn't really evoke the same emotion it did in me as when I first watched when I was a kid. It's dated but, it's got great scenes in it.I know for a fact it's got a large cult following. At my house,we always take quotes from our favorite movies and use them, we got a couple that we use from this one that have stayed with us over the years (15 years +).Like "I remember I remember everything.." no one gets it but us and it's not for any particular reason but for some reason this was a movie that stayed with us and made an impression on us when we first watched way back when. Patrick Swayse was in this with Jenifer Grey before their dirty dancing days.He does a pretty good job in it Jenifer hardly has any lines.Basically America gets invaded and a group of kids run away and hold out in the mountains and fight for there freedom. It makes you wonder what you'd do in the same situation. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling you get from movies that make you feel patriotic.I think it's funny how people try to get so deep with it and I'm talking about the people who hate it and the one's who love it.It's not that deep people! It's silly I mean it'd be like someone watching Independence day with Will Smith and ragging on it and the message that it was trying to send or someone going on about it being a moving patriotic movie. It just isn't that deep, it's an enjoyable movies and that's it (Red Dawn not the Will Smith movie).
