I love documentaries ... all kind of .. not only about or with animals or countries/islands or people / history ... But this one really surprised me in a positive way.

It is so beautifully filmed and the guy really treat those whales with so much respect ... Her really made contact with those creatures and this is the story. How the relation evolved over the years with this spermwhale "Dolores" is just incredible. Please watch it complete, you will not be dissapointed ... The end is just amazing .... We need to respect those big creatures much more than we are doing at the moment ... Great watch and amazing message ! Please watch it !!!!

Back in the late 80ies early 90ies this was my favourite King Story .. even did not understand why it was called a story .. because it was like a 170 page story in german :) loved it ever since and when I heard that Frank Darabont was going to make a Movie out of it I was so happy... There is no better Director that understands Kings Stories. I mean come on Shawshank redemtion or The Green Mile are just amazing movies and those are Kings stories and Darabont Movies. Such a great Story wirh Lovecraftian elements and than filmed by Darabont .. dont say more .. this is it and what we need !!! Love this movie and all Darabont Movies .. Watch it !!! There is no better Movie .. maybe The Shining :)

What can I add to this review that was not already said ... This will be and always be Steven Spielbergs best movie in my opinion ... Forget about Jaws, ET or Indiana Jones .. Nothing will touch you as this story and this movie. I watched it at the cinema when it came out and I watch it and Liam Neeson and Ralph Fieness never played better in any role ... Of course the whole subject is moving and you can be for sure that Spielberg nails it on every small detail ... Just watch this movie ... you will be moved ... every time I watch it i must cry ... If you have not watch it and you love real stories you must watch it ! There is no better movie on this subject as this one !
