  • A Bias review

If I'm writing a review for Michael Jai White, it's probably skewed on the bias side just a little bit. I can still be fair, but when I see Michael Jai White's name, I automatically click on it. Other than a couple of, Why did I get married projects with Tyler Perry, most of his movies are good action flicks. You can usually count on good martial arts, Gunplay, maybe a couple of car chases, and a decent plot line. They don't have the big Hollywood budgets that other things do, but they're usually a good watch and this one was exactly that. This included a new style of martial arts that I've never seen, that was pretty cool. It included a lot of Gunplay couple of really cool cars and a decent plot. So pop the popcorn grab the significant other and sit down and check out, As good as dead. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Better than expected

It's your typical rapper turned actor fight flick. Yes the acting is a little (ok let's be real, sometimes it's a more than a little) weak lol. But it's a B movie. I would venture to say that these guys put up a lot of their own money to make this movie. The storyline is simple, the daughter is kidnapped, the prized fighter must fight one more fight to get her back. I looked at the trailer, saw the actors, and knew what was about to happen. Except there were a few twist that took me by surprise. Don't make it your movie of the night. But it's fine for Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Give it a watch and decide for yourself. • Here we go again

Here we go again, all of the wannabe movie critics comparing the B movie to an A Tom Cruise, Mission Impossible 12 lol. This movie was watchable and entertaining. That's should be all we ask of a B movie. I've seen the Charles Bronson look and act alike in a couple of things before this one and the premise is the same. There are a couple things that are just stupid. Like, how you can walk around and still fight after you've been shot. Watch it for action and suspense which is what the description said. Your opinion will be far better than the ones you're reading. Unless you're looking for something to trash. Watch it and pen your own review. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Their at it again

The naysayers are at it again. As I've said before, I am screaming it now. They claim to scrutinize these reviews, well I wish they would stop including the ones that say, they only watched 10, 20, or 30 minutes then they turned it off. They then proceed to write a nasty review, telling everyone to stay away and not to waste their time. This is a B movie. It's not well written, not well acted, but if those things weren't there, it wouldn't be a B movie. I gave it a 5 but there are a lot of unrealistic things in this movie that make if a little far fetched lol. Two little kids living in the woods alone prepubescent till adulthood killing all who wandered in. Watch for yourself, then come and pen your own review. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Still good

It's 28 years later and still enjoyable. I ran across this on my favorite channel Tubi. I remember the title but not the movie. It has several parts to it, so it will keep you engaged on different levels. When a bunch of thugs take over a brand new housing complex and begin to destroy it before anyone moves in. Yeah some parts have a John Maclean feel to it. But it's a man attempting to save his family at all cost. Don't believe the wanna be movie critics that have only have something negative to say about everything they write about. It was mid Saturday evening with nothing to do kinda movie. Give it a watch and decide for yourself. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Didn't know what to expect

Didn't quite know what to expect from this one. I saw it said horror and thriller, thought I would give it a shot. Glad I did. Again it's a B movie, so I rated as such. I gave it a 6.5 but this system doesn't have that option. Your hoping the whole move the abusive guy gets what he deserves. They introduce another girl to the mix. That keeps you guessing as to what her role is. So if you're one of those that is constantly attempting to figure out the ending, good luck with this one. When I wrote this there weren't a lot of naysayers, but as always, give it a watch for yourself. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Just shut up

I only wrote this so I would shut up and stop bitchen about the naysayers. I swear these people act like they are writing for Access Hollywood. As I've said before, the people who say I only made it 10 minutes or even 30 minutes, their ranking should scrapped and their write up deleted. If this is the worst movie you've ever seen, then you don't watch many movies. And everyone needs to rate it in the correct category. It's obviously a B movie, so rate it against other B movies. And you will find that it's not that bad. The graphics aren't bad and neither is the acting. It kept me engaged, and yes there were times I cheered for the gator 😆. As always, give it a watch and decide for yourself. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Not that bad

Once again it's the wannabe movie reviewers comparing B movies to A movies. While Scream was a solid comedy, this one was not. This kept me glued to the screen wondering who was next. The killer was a demented SOB, as usual there were several times where he could have been stopped in the real world..... but I guess that wouldn't make for good cinema lol. Hopefully you've never read any of my other reviews, because here's where the part where they all sound the same. Forget about the naysayers and give it a watch and decide for yourself. Remember it's a B flick. The action is good, some believable, some not lol. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Remember it's a B movie

As I began to write this review, I had to remind myself that it was only a B movie. As the now grown up losers, gathered together one more time, now 20 years later, all ready to relive their high school glory days, their high school antics seemed followed them. Not to give too much away here, the rest you will need to watch if you dare and find out for yourselves. Again, remember this is B or even C movie. While the storyline is weak the acting is even worse. There is one standout, Ashley Balloumua. She is much younger than the rest of the people attending the reunion, but they seem to make her fit. The guy they paired her with would only happen in the movies. It was a hard watch, but I made it through it. If you have nothing better to do, have a couple of drinks, maybe a blunt 🤔 and give it, a watch. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • WTF

What is up with these reviews? Did we watch the same movie? I stopped writing reviews because there were so many, I felt that they would never be read. At times this was a total snooze feast. The camera work in some of scenes was just awful. There was a basket ball game that went on for what seemed like forever, it almost seemed as if one of the players was holding the camera. The storyline was weak. The 25 number 10 ratings must have come from the staff and crew. I think my 5 rating might be too high. Hitchhiking across the country, quick stop to work as a dealer and a hitman for a drug kingpin. Then fall in love with the local THOT. Dealing drugs, no sex and no nudity come on.

  • Loved this movie. Watch it now.

This movie was great. Almost from beginning to end. I don't love a lot of movies, but I loved this one. Jam packed with action. Gun play, grenades, bombs, hostages and a good deal of martial arts including knife play. There's some edge of your seat moments, remember this is a B movie. It's not Die Hard, but for a B movie I really enjoyed it. Pop the popcorn, dim the lights and watch the movie for what it is. Okay, This the part where I have said all that I need to say, but they force me to write 600 words. So you can stop reading now cuz I can't think of anything else worthwhile to say except.....Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Cool Watch

Do you want to sit down with popcorn on a Friday night with a date, no. But a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, when there's nothing on TV but golf or racing. This is the perfect movie just for you. Remember this is a B movie so don't put it up against the blockbusters. It's about a prehistoric shark, one hundred and fifty million years old. The Graphics aren't bad for a B movie. They try to make it as believable as they can, with the budget they were working with. It was certainly well fed lol. I tried to keep a body count, but it didn't work. There's a lot of eye candy for both guys and girls. Give it a watch and decide for yourself. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • This this movie was hilarious and stupid

I guess this was a love it or hate it sort of flick. I was a wedding DJ for 30 years and I always loved destination weddings. Families mixing together for the first time, what can possibly go wrong lol. A destination wedding you have no place to escape with Escape being the operative word this time. This had all sorts of trickery going on. Pirates, gun play, explosions and small car crashes. The quirky Mother of the groom, the pretentious Mother of the Bride. The wanna be Father's of the bride and groom. The action was funny and slightly exaggerated. But what do you expect it's Hollywood. This is a movie that you have to watch for yourself and form your own opinion I think it's funny. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Early Samuel L Jackson

When I see Samuel L Jackson name in the credits, I usually check it out. But this is not what you would expect. It's early Sam (I call him Sam, cuz I got it like that lol). He's has hair including the big bald spot. He hasn't picked up the weight (amazing what money, food and age will do to or for you lol). He's in the movie, but they spend the majority of the time trying to find out who killed him. The cast isn't bad, the acting is good. The storyline is somewhat predictable, but what mob movie isn't lol. This is not a movie night flick. Late night, Saturday or Sunday afternoon works. Nuff Said Mike Out. 0.

  • Pretty good

Not as bad as everyone else is saying. I've seen Louis Mandylor play better parts, but he was with Scott Adkins. There is a lot of stupid in this but that provides the comedy 🤣. This is the heist from hell. It starts off wrong and keeps getting worse. The band of idiots compound mistakes as if that was the plan. This definitely worth the watch. It's a star studded list a B actors. The acting is not bad some of the people you immediately want to see killed, get what's coming, but not the way you would expect it. The ending isn't too predictable, and it's not that long. Like this is, because they make me use 600 characters. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • So bad

This could have easily been so much better. I'm not a writer but I think I couldn't have done a better job than this. It's somewhat predictable but then takes a horrible turn for the worst. The veteran comes home with no arms or legs, gee whatever should we do? The doctor is doing great things with some positive results, let me see if he can help my friend? But of course the butler did it and all of these great minds, no one figures it out. Here's a damn butler who in a matter of days falls inn love with the new house guest, the good looking PhD scientist. Now he's mad because he doesn't have a shot. Please. How much fun would that be introducing him at parties. Why yes I did win the Nobel Prize, meet my husband, high school dropout, the butler. I usually say at this point to watch it for yourself, nope. Pick something else. This ask if this contains spoilers? The only thing that will be spoiled here will be your evening lol. Stay away. Nuff Said Mike Out.

Not at all what I was expecting. No one is ever going to read this, but I'm writing it anyway. This was my first movie of 2023. I was looking for a little horror movie to kick off the new year, came across this one and gave it a try. What a surprise. This had me laughing out loud. Due to some unfortunate circumstances I am temporarily stuck in a total care nursing home with a roommate. My Assisted living facility has no heat or hot Water and the State stepped in an shut it down. Why am I telling you all of this you ask? Because this thing makes me type 600 characters. I woke him up, maybe I'll let him watch it. Until then, you watch it, really funny. The movie that is, not me being stuck in a smelly nursing home lol 🙃 😅 😆 😴 Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • I'm beginning to doubt my taste

I'm beginning to doubt my taste in movies lol. I always thought I marched to a different drummer, I was a drum major in high school so I guess those people had to follow me. Reading all of the other reviews (ok, yeah yeah I know, there were 1.2k of them, so I didn't read them all, but I read a lot of them) not many are with me now.

I thought it had a good pace, decent action, good acting. But dang, come on people, 18,000 plus gave it 1 star. I didn't see the original so I guess I had nothing to be angry about. Find someone, pop sum popcorn, settle in and check this out and let me know what you think. Nuff Said Mike Out.

Ok, first off you have to be a fan. All of the naysayers are obviously not, Don Johnson, Miami Vice, Nash Bridges fans. It has a little of everything in it. They start out by totaling the barracua and replacing it with a bright yellow 702hp Hellcat. If you're listening to it with decent speakers, just the rumble gets your juices flowing. I didn't know they made that in a convertible. Yes people, it's about the car, it's always about the car lol. His sidearm is a little bigger and better but that's also to be expected. I loved it. I'm not someone who watches movies over and over again, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm watching this one over again. Please please please make another on. Maybe toss Philip Michael Thomas in the mix, what the heck. This is a good watch, check it out. Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Why do you watch

The reviews go on and on, Michael Bay this and Michael Bay that. If you know sooooo much about him, and you clearly don't like him, why do you watch? You would never go to your favorite restaurant, scan the menu, find the one thing you hate and say, hey, I think I'll go with this. This movie had everything that makes a good movie except nudity. Toss in a couple of naked women and I probably would have given it a 10. Fights, gun play, car chases, this one has it all. Movies are made for different tastes, and just because I like something you don't, in no way makes you better than me, or your taste better than mine. Who reviews these write ups? Why do you allow someone to watch 5 or 10 minutes of a 2 hour movie then come on here and trash it? This movie was good and I'm sure I will watch it again. 👍

  • Love it or hate it

Reading the other reviews, you either love this movie or you hate it. I try to finish each movie I start, but this one was really difficult. I finished it but I still didn't get it. On top of being a mess I think some of the bad acting was for effect, but not a very good one.

I wanted to stop there but I'm forced to use 600 characters 😔. Other reviews use two or three lines say all that needs to be said and they are out. Will someone please teach me the trick please 🙏. I'm even running out of the personalist banter to fill this thing so that I can hit the submit button. This makes no sense someone help me please.

  • ANOTHER JOKE

This was a real joke. Vampire Strippers. A movie about Strippers and strip clubs with a complete lack of nudity. The casting call must of said must be willing to work for free. I worked in the industry for several years, if this was the talent it would have been closed in a week. The talent was almost fully dressed on stage and the guys were throwing 100's. NO WAY. The sound was terrible, the lightning was either too bright or too dark. They covered the couches and walls with wrinkled sheets. Girls dancing to entire songs while guys threw 5000 at her. This would be unrealistic if they were throwing 1's. One dance set literally lasted 10 minutes with some find out generic elevator music playing. One girl came out completely fully dressed with the top and pants that came all the way to her ankles and never changed while they threw hundreds never in a thousand years would this happen. The audio director had no idea what he was doing. The big gangster rich vampire was being driven around in a Kia Sorento what a joke. Partying on a yacht drinking out of paper cups. The dime store fangs were really funny. This movie is a complete waste of time. I recommend looking for something else to watch this is terrible.

  • Why do they keep making these.

Hi School film school could do better than this. The plot is terrible, and the acting is awful. It's not the worst thing I've seen but it's a close second. They are using their personal houses and cars. Hand held cameras, as bad as this is they may have used cell phones. Okay they are making me use 600 characters again.

So here I go with the superfluous chatter again. Because I truly can't come up with 600 characters about this sorry movie. The person that gave this a 10 was in the movie. Nuff Said Mike Out. Why do I have to come up with 600 characters and some people just write a two or three lines. Enough already.

  • Here we go again

All of the negative reviews. This was a good movie. Action, drama, romance, and a horse chase (no cars lol). It was nominated for 5 awards and won 3. The fight scenes were good, and a lot of them. This is a good weekend watch, with the popcorn and potato chips. Grab the beverage of your choice and enjoy a good flick. This is worth the watch, maybe even a couple of times. Also my 2 cents worth. The people who only watch 5 or 10 minutes of the movie should not be allowed to trash it. Nuff Said Mike Out.

Ok here we go again with the Superfluous filler to make my 600 characters. Why do some get away with a couple of lines? Okay, again, Nuff Said Mike Out.

  • Strange

The best way to describe this movie is strange. Definitely not a horror movie. Very slow pace. Completely unrealistic. The husband needed a good throttling, then dropped off a cliff and eaten by sharks. Any man that would attempt manipulate his wife for his own good deserves just what he got. But after you get the answers you need, no one walks away from several million when all the people who would need to be punished are dead. That's just not how life works. Well at least not in the real world in which we live. I don't recommend this one, especially if you're looking for a horror movie. Nuff Said Mike Out.
