Great idea for a multiple episode or even a multiple series concept, just no good as a film. The sickest people in the film are the photographers who relish in capturing misery, not the fighters (apart from the ones from the trailer (no spoilers). They are also annoying and you don't get any depth of character from any of them.
Maybe they were thinking that not providing any explanation as to why there is civil war is suggesting that it doesn't matter (I.e. War is bad no matter what), but every side of a war has its reasons and not all war is wrong if it is for virtuous reasons. This film will leave you wanting to know what the war was about. It will continue to bug me for a while.

Because the way things are these days, I'm still not sure if this was taking the mick out of gen-z or not. It is so on the nose that you think it must be but, then again, things are often beyond parody these days, so I'm not convinced. Compared to most modern films of this type it was very watchable and not too obvious what was about to happen next. I would recommend a watch if you have time.
If it was taking the mick out of gen z, it was a good effort, but so much of this is included in modern films, without jest, that I'm really on the fence about it. Giving benefit of the doubt, I've gone 6/10.
