Gomez, like Chaplain, may someday be considered a genius.
His antics -- such as his elaborate mots with wife -- seemed oddly genuine, as well as surprisingly amusing.
The glide onto the dance floor was sheer artistry.
The life at home.. was over the top.., yet everyone seemed perfectly content, except for the repressed mother-in-law.
But my main take-away was.. there is something wonderful that we sacrifice -- our originality, spontaneity, playfulness, etc -- by conformity and being slaves to money.
Unfortunately.. (as the film suggests) we have little choice in the matter.

I agree with those who called this "film".. predictable, cheesy, and drivel.
It goes so far on the spectrum as to be fairly dripping with thinly disguised hostility -- anti-American.. and choking with PC.
Who would have thought the British could sink so low?

Apart from reasonable PD, this movie has a ridiculous plot.., and Meghan's representation of the character fails on every count to portray a business-like reality. Likewise the camp leader comes off more like a kidnapper than a Christian.
Overall, it's uncomfortable to watch.
