I love a good shark movie and I generally don't go in with high expectations because this is a tough genre to nail. This wasn't just awful, this was dreadfully awful. People giving this a 10 on here or saying they enjoyed it, you've been paid to write those reviews. The acting was abysmal, the effects were abysmal (noted it was low budget and boy could you tell). What irritated me the most was how casual the characters when there's a very big possibility they were going to be chomped by a shark. Even the first character who was bitten in the water, she says I'm fine without any panic or fear that something sinister was in the water. Just so dumb and silly like why even bother. Daft to the core. Like my husband said 'we're gna need a bigger nope'! Do something better with your time and skip this snooze fest!
I watched this after having it on my watchlist for over 6 months. A little late to the party but all I was left thinking after the last episode was WTF did I just watch.
I've read many reviews on this show and I need to back the majority. Both the main leads were so frustrating and unlikeable. I've not read the book and I get the portrayal here was 2 people in a toxic relationship with Steven being the narcissistic, condescending and toxic mcp but what was up with Lucy's behaviour by the end of the show? Her actions mimiced Steven's with the lying, and being a complete hypocritical a****** to her friends especially Pippa. If the idea is to want to punch these characters they played them well. Someone in the reviews said don't focus on the receding hairlines but I'm sorry, this is college and they casted people who look way older which makes them look completely out of place. Also why would anyone be friends with Wrigley? Freaking annoying as hell especially in the scene at Evan's family place. I watched the whole show because I wanted to but boy all the characters (except Evan and Bree) are so unlikeable especially the main leads, they have such similar traits that you don't really feel sorry for Lucy for being with such an a*******! It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either, watch it if you're super bored and have run out of options to watch a decent show.

I watched this on a whim as I've been drawing a bit of a blank with kdrama's recently. I'm glad it was 12 episodes because any more than that, I probably would've given up getting to the end.
This drama tells the story of a celebrity psychologist and her surgeon husband. Everyone in the family has a secret they're harbouring and this drama depicts how people can use these secrets as weapons against you. The storytelling was all over the place and the explanation as to why someone went to so much trouble to infiltrate and attempt to break up a family leaves the audience wanting more. It was also so frustrating watching the daft actions of some of the characters. Overall not a bad watch but not one of the best either.
