The stories are interesting and well-researched, and as someone living in the south, the locations are familiar, but the narrator's ridiculous, fake, over-the-top "southern" accent is horrendous. It is completely unnecessary and inaccurate, and is extremely distracting. She was an incredibly bad choice for that role. It's hard to imagine the show will survive for more than one (short) season unless a decision is quickly made to replace her. There must be a number of performers with authentic southern accents who can be found the replace the current disaster. The producers REALLY missed the mark with this one.

The acting is abysmal. It's like watching a ridiculously amateur soap opera. Everything is overacted and exaggerated to the point of being absurd. Worst true crime show on television.
