I really liked the beginning of this movie, I really liked the middle of this movie, and I really liked the end of this movie...... That is, until the very end of the movie. As in far too many other super hero movies the last years, the end ruins A LOT! To avoid spoilers, I will not reveal anything more than that. If you "must" know, look up the ending of the movie on the internet/see the movie yourself.
Including the very end of the movie, it had a lot of action, a lot of dark and fitting humor, great visual and sound effects, a good story and so on.
On top of a bad ending, I would say that the movie is close to just on hour thirty five minutes play time! The claimed playtime of one hour and fifty minutes is included 15-20 minutes intro and end credits...!

In the beginning this series was rather slow burning. Not much happened, and it was a bit hard to follow the plot and where things happened. Especially if you are not into astronomy and knows the names of planets and moons in the solar system. The manuscript was also at times not the best when it comes to the dialogue, and the "pretend language" of "the belters" seemed rather "cringe" to me, and made it harder to follow the story... I am aware that the language changes through the years, but still... In the middle of the series things picked up, a lot more happened, and the show deserved an 8/10. But the end came really abrupt, a lot of things that had happened was not addressed, and the show could have benefitted from another season, or a minimum of double the episodes of the last season! On top of this the power balance between the different fractions seemed unbelievable to me, both when it came to the exaggerated technically superior part and the numerical superior part in the beginning of the series, and how everything shifted more or less completely towards the end! It also seemed a bit far fetched how all parties hated each other, and the historical reason for this did not seem believable to me. At least "The Expanse" is of course better than "Star Trek: Discovery" and the copy-shamelessly-series "The Orville", and I would say more or less equal to "Star Trek: Picard" that also had its flaws.
I barely got scared in any of the episodes in the two seasons. Does the series deserve to be called a horror show if it is not frightening??? Several of the episodes are more "splatter" with a lot of blood and gore than "horror". The hallmark of bad horror shows and movies when the writers and the producers are not competent to write and produce something that are genially frightening... THE thing this series excels in is nudity: There are relatively much nudity, and the girls/women that are nude looks GREAT!!! But again: That does not make the series a good horror show... Considering the lack of alternatives, the series is not horrible, so of you have nothing else to do, it is an OK series if you are able to and just want to shut of you brain and watch some horror/"horror".
