I was mesmerized by this fantastic episode. There was so much emotion that really reached out to us mortals. Tom's portrayal of Morpheus is extraorinary anyway, but in this episode he gave an Emmy-worthy performance. His character isn't a human, and he's not mortal, so it needs a very good actor to present this being with rare emotions that are not like "a guy in pain". Barry & Esme added different but also intense performances as Destruction and Delirium. I'm already very sad that this high fantasy series is ending with this second season. I'm a big fan of high fantasy, and this series delivers that perfectly.
....unfortunately Netflix cancelled the series. All the strands of fate for the protagonists, gods and mortals, led to a very interesting point. It really was an epic season finale with very promising themes for the future. Great performances from all the actors. My personal favourite was Stephen Dillane, who portrayed an excellent narrator as Prometheus (and he never looked better, very sexy actually). It's a shame that it looks like we won't get a conclusion of this story. My only hope is that another studio picks up this interesting and unique tv show, that portrayed ancient gods and their relations to humans in a way that hasn't been done before.
People just love to trash everything these days. Nothing is good enough. To many people believe they are the best writers, directors, producers. There may be things to criticise in this series, but giving it 1 Star is completely unjust. We live in the 21st century and producers & writers can't copy every little thing from old books by a writer who had a great idea but in the end was not an excellent writer himself. These trolls should stick to reading the books and never watch any adaptation.
I really enjoyed this episode. The acting was fantastic, there was drama and action, the story was good, cinematography was excellent. Great Entertainment. Fortunately there were enough viewers who enjoyed it and the ones with tunnel vision are in the minority.
