There is a lot to unpack here. It's very easy to sit and nitpick about everything wrong with a movie - and although I was able to pick out a decent amount of issues - I still really liked it.
I felt the script to be a little underwhelming at times, and some conversations/lines were just kind of lame. I also feel that to drive home this kind of love story, the chemistry between the leads could have been stronger.
Though I could point out some other minor details that bothered me, I think the messaging in this movie was very strong and clear, and that's kind of what I'll remember most.
This movie perfectly encapsulates dating in this day and age, where expectations and reality rarely seem to meet, and money feels like the only thing that matters.
A light hearted watch with some funny moments and a very obvious moral. I would give it a watch.

It took me a week to finish this movie because it is quite long (3 hours) and kind of for no reason, but it is a very beautiful film nonetheless.
I think the writing in this film is incredible, as there are so many lines that really stood out to me, and I can't say that about a lot of movies. I also found that a film with a pretty dark subject matter was able to add humour very gracefully.
Additionally, the vibes and scenery were stunning as well. A very elegant movie that also comes off as light? Idk I think it was very well done. The only reason I would have a hard time recommending this movie is because of the run time, but if that doesn't bother you, I'd say it's worth a watch!

I don't think this is the most groundbreaking show you'll ever see, but right off the bat, the acting is incredible, and I thought the series being filmed in one take was really cool!
While I do think the messaging of the series is strong, four episodes didn't really feel like enough. Given the unique angle this show takes (since it's not a run-of-the-mill murder mystery), there's room for limited exploration, but I personally felt that some details were underdeveloped, which in turn made certain sequences feel pointless to me.
Sometimes I wonder if that was intentional-because the message still came across-but I guess I'm just left feeling a little unsatisfied.
It kind of feels like we sacrificed a good story for a good message, when we could've easily had both.
