Where, oh where, shall I begin this review? I heard all the buzz about this film. I'm a fan of both Nicholas and Taylor as actors in their other projects and I'm a self proclaimed, well known, unashamed romantic who would give Christian from Moulin Rouge a run for his money when it comes to my feelings on love.... so it is no surprise I was excited to see this movie as a new rom-com. Also, as a very proud ally, to see a film dedicated to the love between two men, I was even more excited to see how it was presented.

And let tell you, 10/10, in my mind does not do this film justice!!! The two male leads were phenomenal. Portraying very authentic, relatable, and engaging performances that draw you in and do not let go.

The story of Alex & Henry is a dynamic you've seen in many many works....2 people from different worlds who "cant" be together but their love is too strong and they fight against everything to be together.

This film is funny, uplifting, lighthearted, relevant, heartbreaking, squeezes your heart and brings tears to your eyes for every reason you can imagine. It is a beautiful representation of what love between two men can be and really, very tastefully done to where you never feel they went overboard overly sexualized the characters. The dynamic and passion between these two men is what we see in every film depicting heterosexual love and it plays out just as beautifully and naturally as anything else, which is at it should always be.

I am utterly bewitched by this story and am reading the novel now. I recommend this to any and all. 10/10 wholeheartedly forever recommend.

This movie was horrible. Jackson Rathbone seems to have forgotten that he is no longer playing Jasper Cullen and the look of constantly trying not to commit flatulence permeates the entire movie along with his horribly forced attempt at being a posh piano player.... he doesn't pull it off.

The female lead was an overwhelming bore. She provided no spark, no believability nor any semblance of humanity. She was better in the To All the Boys movies... not sure what happened to her.

The story could've been good, but this movie failed miserably. It had no fluidity and jumped quickly and ended abruptly... not to mention ghost sex?? Seriously??? This movie was just awful from start to finish. The ONLY good element was Leslie Jordan.

It's just not good. Boring. Flat acting. Just don't do it. Can't believe Thomas Jane acted in this.... he's way too good for a movie this awful.

Just don't waste your time.
