I greatly enjoyed this movie.
Superb writing, always on the edge without crossing the line.
Great dark comedy. Great acting too.
Haven't watch a French movie in years. What a pleasure to see Franck Dubosc and Benoit Poelvoorde's performance. I didn't know Laure Calamy, loved her too.
Bravo !
Now I realize I have been missing out on the quality of French movies for too long. Time to correct that P.-s. My background is French and American. I recommend anyone curious about the French culture to watch this movie. I think it gives out a lot of references, the same way Fargo did with American cultural references.

Big spy movies and novels fan here-John Le Carré is my top reference, and I always appreciate a well-crafted espionage story that goes beyond just action and intrigue. This series delivered in every way, with a compelling mix of intelligence, depth, and emotional weight.
I absolutely loved the underlying themes explored throughout: resilience in the face of adversity, the complexities of parenthood, the ever-present conflict between patriotism and personal morality, and the ethical dilemmas that come with a life in the shadows. These elements gave the show a richness that elevated it far beyond a standard spy thriller.
The performances were nothing short of outstanding. Rhys, Russell, and Emmerich all brought an incredible level of nuance to their roles, making every scene feel layered and meaningful. Special kudos to Emmerich-his subtle and soft performance was an absolute standout, adding an understated but powerful dimension to the story. The chemistry between the leads and the emotional depth they brought to their characters made the journey all the more immersive.
As for the finale, it was everything I could have hoped for-satisfying, intense, and emotionally resonant. It stayed true to the tone and themes of the series while delivering a conclusion that felt earned and meaningful.
A massive thank you to the whole cast and crew for creating such a masterpiece. This is a series I will be thinking about for a long time.

I gave a 7 because it's always a good thing to have people like S Bannon on record, but overall I found the interview quite weak as Errol Morris is sometimes simply disagreeing or being outraged but does not bring any facts or arguments into the mix.
Interesting to see how Bannon had no credible defense argument for Charlottesville, the Alt-Right, and the role of Breitbart in giving a voice to hate. I think he just does not care of the consequences; the end justifies the means.
I found remarkable that the role of Bannon at Cambridge Analytica was not mentioned (except for a newspaper title that appears half a second on the screen).
Bannon is a man with a mission - an evil, dangerous mission that is. He does not care about the deplorables, the men in the trenches, they are just a tool.
Bannon is consumed by power, and will piggy back any useful idiot/populist that will help speed up the coming of a self-realizing apocalyptic prophecy.
