1st off, this did not feel like a 3 hour movie. It went by so fast. I think the 3 hr time, might put people off. But, don't let it. It is filmed beautifully and depicts the story from all sides. The things people had to do to survive made for a fantastic story. I cannot wait until the next film comes out. Costner has a way of telling the a story. This is not Yellowstone, so don't expect that. It's a grand saga, with numerous intertwined stories. Don't go get popcorn, as there are not any dull moments. You don't want to miss any of it. I highly recommend this film, even if you are not a fan of Westerns.
Like many other fans, I was excited for part 2 only to be very disappointed. It's like they tried to throw everything at us and it was too much. I could have used less shock value affects and more story line. It was all over the place, in constant motion. Nothing scary, nothing to draw you in like the 1st one. The only reason I gave it 5 stars was the kids. They were really the only redeeming factor for me. They had better acting skills and were more believable than the adults.
Don't get me started on the ending! I don't want to spoil it, but "it" was terrible!

Very predictable. They tried to be constantly funny which makes it not worthy of being a thriller or a drama. I could see teen girls liking it.
