  • Felt like I ate out on the fanciest restaurant

Great writing, great acting, amazing action set-pieces, great everything. I'm blown away by how mature Tom Holland was in this movie, will forever remain as the greatest Spidey film.

  • Resident Evil 4: Slow-Mo Action Sequences

This movie has no rhyme or reason and after watching 3 yesterday I can only say this was a huge fall off. None of the side characters are compelling or interesting and the action sequences are just boring as F since they abuse the slow motion in every single one. If you enjoy ridiculous and slow action and Milla Jocovich then this movie is for you. Otherwise is just an even more dumbed down version of RE, no suspense, no good action, nothing to show for. Last 20 minutes were "decent" but doesn't make up for an hour that I lost of my life watching the rest. Score: 3.6/10

  • The better one out of the first 3

I've been watching the movies in succession and I can totally say that this was the best one out of the first 3. While the plot is still a bit generic, the action sequences, visual style and pacing are very improved. Alice looked badass and this time around I believed it. Claire thrown in the mix is kind of an "appeal" move more than her significance in the movie itself but its still pretty cool. Finally, the foreshadowing is very obvious in almost every scene so that kind of throws the shock effect out of the window. Score: 7.5/10

  • This is pure comedy (The first one was way better)

Even by 2004 standards the action sequences on this movie are ridiculous, also the plot and writing are horrible and the pace is nasty really. Nothing really makes sense, what a disservice to the franchise, they didn't take anything seriously and it shows. Score: 3/10

  • The debut of Resident Evil on the big screen

A movie from 2002 that delivers a decent horror/suspense experience. The eerie feel of the lab and the red queen are great. The writing is kind of dull, the action is ridiculous and the CGI is obviously very dated but I think it's worth a watch for nostalgia or if you haven't watched the series ever. Score: 6.5/10

  • A movie made into a video game

Beyond Two Souls tells the story of Jodie, a girl with telekinetic abilities, from little age to grown up. Charged with emotion and drama the story is very compelling. Mechanically speaking the game is linear with very little to space to roam and wonder around but the world it built looks amazing. The game has an option to play it not chronologically which is the best in my opinion as it balances action packed scenes with quieter puzzle games and dialogue. If you want a direct comparison just go watch Stranger Things cause this story is so similar it might make you think that it was written by the same person.

  • Best of the bunch

For the goals and audience it strives for, this movie stands out from the trilogy. Humor is on point, action sequences (although unrealistic of course) are great and the story is cohesive (and includes a twist).

What more can you ask for?

  • Now we're talking

If you haven't played this game because of the crisis it suffered before, I'd recommend you to pick it up now. For the price you will get all the content available and great milsim. Being able to play any era, almost every popular hero/villain, you favorite trooper, and a lot of locations that are known by the fans.

  • Not worth watching a 2nd time

I think this movie tried to do too much at once and failed at every single aspect. Wolverine's backstory with the wars and all that was awesome, would've loved to see more of that but unfortunately it isn't there.

Main villain was confusing to say the least, did he want an army, control the mutants or eliminate them? I am a little lost here. Also, there's all sort of continuity problems, cause after seeing First Class, I don't understand how Emma Frost went backwards in age and Charles is walking. Also, who is this "Deadpool"...

Anyways, will not bother too much here, there is nothing that stands out about this movie. Only good thing was Logan and even he was constrained by this bad narrative.

  • Refreshing take on X-Men Franchise

Just saw X-Men: First Class for the first time and gotta say, it's a refreshing movie. They did a great job with telling the stories of Magneto and Charles. In regard to those characters it struck the right tones at the right moments and fleshed out their arguments really well. Also sets up the humans vs. mutants plot in a compelling way. On the other hand, Villain was bland and Mystique flirting all over the place was a little annoying but this is a solid 8/10 for me.

An amazing side of the story of a figure that touched the hearts of a lot of chicagoans. Trough the trials and the tribulations, it's inspiring to see how far he has come and still hungry.

  • Been waiting a looooong time

I found the movie to be awesome, although confused at the first scene (since the villain escaped), I enjoyed this well put together title. I like how the developed the characters to changing the roles, it can be very controversial, but it gave it a different taste. Also visually engaging, packed with action scenes; loved the idea of adding new superheroes and Jack jack was all over the place. Only noted flaw is that sometimes there is not enough scene development and it seems to jump from one place to the other.

Overall, I think it makes justise to the 14 years we waited, could be disappointing if you were waiting for a longer runtime. On that note though, this movie had a full year of production cut and it seems that it left a couple of loose strings to bring home a third installment.

  • What...?

Messy and rushed development, big plot holes, awkward humor, nonsensical scenes and epic failure are all the household names of this new and not so "Star Wars" movie.

The movie tries to cover a lot of things rapidly which ends up confusing you and completely leaving you in a blank space. It is a disgrace to see how important characters just fadeaway, traded for a couple of "humor" scenes the predictable "fairy tale" ending delivered to you by Disney. Do not recommend for anybody who has watched the previous trilogies as it will leave you in big disappointment and utter regret.

I guess business is business and as long as the title says "Star Wars" this is as far from it as you will get.

I could go more in-depth but there is enough said on here and almost everywhere. This film is a total disconnection from what Star Wars was and how it normally goes, change is good and with the time gap there is an acceptance for it up to certain point. This goes way beyond change, it is just a flat out mess of a movie in which you will not find a lot of moments to be excited or emotional about. It's just one big MEH.
