After the release of 2007 classic Mad_e in Bangladesh, Mostafa Sarwar Farooki decided to explore the theme (political satire) a little more and came up with this visually appealing and gripping mini series about two con men who gain everything through politics only to lose it all. Told in an unusually simple manner and most origianal way possible, and with the characteristic humour, Farooki & his team of brilliant actors create a reflection of the the true picture of vandalism that goes in the name of 'politics' in Bangladesh.
At the end, Farooki adds a note on 'the freedom of a single woman in Dakha & it's impact on the so called conservative mindset prevailing in soceity' and stretches this concept further to make his next feature film, Third Person Singular Number, starring the ever gorgeous Tisha.
