This movie shows the humanity, insanity, and personal struggle for perfection it takes to do things that no one else has done and few to none have tried to accomplish. Possible the best movie I have ever seen in terms of drawing you in, keeping a strangle hold on your attention, and not just rushing to the juicy parts but letting you savor the journey.
Alex Honnold you are an inspiration to the world. Never stop.

As a huge JP fanatic I was let down by the poor story line, cheesy effects, ridiculous one liners that failed to have any comedic landing and just over all predictability from start to finish. Wanted to leave half way through but couldn't force myself to do it as a true JP fan I stuck it out to the end only to walk out hoping I never have to see it again.
They should have learned back with ghostbusters this isn't your target audience and it's just not working. Also lack of creativity and nothing to keep your attention other then beautiful women. Basically they traded substance for beauty in this one.
