Some people link this to Jordan Peele's work. I don't. This is way better in the way it portrays issues of identity, race, prejudice and so on, all under an original perspective that blends in terror and mental health. Highly recommended watch. Cast also does a great job of conveying emotions that go way beyond the words in a script. Allison Pill and Deborah Ayorinde deliver masterful performances, but the supporting cast is also great. This is excellent television, with carefully developed scripts and just the right amount of tension building up. Overall, a delightful watch. Get your popcorn ready and enjoy the show.
I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, suspense, thrillers and horror movies. Unfortunately, this movie just doesn't deliver. It has a promising start, I'll give you that, and for a moment I was taken back to what I experienced when I saw Poltergeist and Close Encounters. But after that it is just downhill. Nothing makes sense, end there is just no thrill. You are not left wondering or anticipating the next move. It is just plain silly. Don't waste your time. I awarded it a 3 because of the first 15 minutes, but then the story is just an erratic goose chase... I'm sorry that I wasted my time. Don't waste yours. You've been warned.
