I had recently got this from through inter-loan.

I remember the last time I had seen this movie was when it was a new release on tv, back in 2004. My mom and I watch it together, it could have been on Nickelodeon, I remember because in couple of months we were going to move to a new home. I enjoyed it then and now.

Onto the film, The story takes place in New York, Charlie played by Jerry O'Connell and Louis played by Anthony Anderson screw up at delivering tv's because for Charlie's adopted father is a mob boss; Salvador Maggio played by Christopher Walken, who gives them one more chance, so he has them deliver an envelope full of money $50 thousand dollars cash. They must deliver it to Mr. Smith in Sydney, Australia.

When they arrive, they take a rental jeep and drive it in the desert of the outback.

While driving they accidently hit a Kangaroo, thinking his dead Louis decides have Charlie take pictures with him, Louis even puts his lucky hooded jacket on him, what they don't know is Kangaroo Jack aka Jackie Legs is about to run off with the loot!

Both Charlie and Louis get help from Jessie played by the deliciously beautiful Estella Warren who is a Kangaroo wrangler to try and get the money back.

This movie was a lot of fun, it's just as good as I remember it, even though my memory is a little fuzzy, my mom did as well.

I give it a 5/10. If you have kids they might like it as well. It is more of a family movie anyway. Even if you don't have kids it's fun just the same.

As I'm rewatching the blob films, I thought hey, why don't I just get this one as well.

When I got it and watched it, I enjoyed it just as much as the first two films. Now mind you, still feel the original film is better story wise, but this was a fairly good remake, re-imagining of the original.

When I was little I had only seen this film and the original film, and liked them both. And still do.

Onto the story, the story takes place in a fictional town called Arborville.

We meet Kevin Dillon as Brian Flagg a sort of outsider juvenile delinquent highschooler.

And also the lovely sexy highschooler cheerleader Meg Penny played by the sexy as every Shawnee Smith. And guys, she looks great in uniform, she has the legs for it.

Everyone is going about they're day until after dark, a meteorite crash lands in the woods where a homeless man (presumably) finds it and goes to investigate. The blob attacks him, attaching it's self to his hand.

Later, Meg is on a date when her boyfriend Paul who accidently runs into him with the car.

Brain finds them while riding his motorcycle but leaves it behind in the woods to check out what's going on.

At the hospital, the blob dissolves the homeless man and takes out Meg's boyfriend Paul.

Soon after the blob starts a blood thirsty rampage killing a few in the woods then they're town!

I give it a 6/10. It's just a fun entertaining movie, again I don't feel it's better than the original, but I like it being more of it's own thing.

I recently got this on order through the library, through inter-loan.

Set entirely at night, Steve Andrews (Steve McQueen) is on a date with his girlfriend Jane Martin (Aneta Corsaut), while making out they catch a glimpse of what looks like a shooting star.

Steve feels that shooting star was pretty close so drives his car to the scene.

Meanwhile at a near by cabin, an elderly man decides to investigate what landed in front of his house. Getting a closer look he comes across a small crater and sees a small meteorite.

Suddenly, it brakes apart containing a clear blob substance inside it. And attaches itself to the old man's hand up to the rist line.

While Steve and Jane drive to the site they come across the old man and take him to the local doctor.

Back in town, Dr. T. Hallen examines the old man's hand, the blob substance has now changed from a sort of clear transparent color to a red color.

After Jane and Steve leave Dr. Hallen to tend with the old man the blob soon engulfs the old man, a nurse and the doctor himself. The blob in it's true form is a jelly-like mass that grows bigger the more people it consumes.

Luckily Steve and Jane get they're friends to help them, as well as the towns people and police, to try and stop the blob.

I had a good time with this movie, my mom as well.

It's been a long time since I seen this movie but I'm very happy to see it again.

I give it a 6/10. Check it out.
