I loved this movie so much!!! KEKE PALMER & SZA was VERY EXCELLENT with their roles. I never thought that I would really see SZA do a comedy movie but everything about her is INCREDIBLE!!! Her acting, her singing... I been loving/rocking with SZA since I first heard about her. Keke always done excellent in a lot of her movies. She always been my girl!!! When I say that this movie was HILARIOUS it was HILARIOUS!!! Most of the scenes in the movie had me rollin/dying laughing. I feel like they should make a part 2 of this movie just because of these two LOVELY, BEAUTIFUL, & TALENTED ladies can really collaborate together in a movie!!! If you have your downfalls about this movie, idk what else to tell you, BUT IMMA 4EVER LUV THIS MOVIE!!! When I first watched the trailer, I thought it was gonna be a regular drama film but after watching this it was VERY FUNNY & WELL ACTED OUT!!! Most of everybody that was in the movie did great. 4EVER FUNNY & A CLASSIC ITSELF!!! PLZZ MAKE A PART 2!!! THEY DESERVE TO HAVE A SEQUEL!!! X^D.
A lot of people talk about how bad Tyler Perry is of directing, writing, and producing all of his plays & movies, BUT THIS MOVIE WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! EXCELLENT WORK DONE!!! Taraji had THE BEST ROLE & the rest of the other actors/actrresses was good as well!!! You could be that type of person that can deal with A LOT OF negativity for one day & everything can/could just go haywire. Taraji ALWAYS BEEN one of my favorite actresses including SHERRI SHEPERED & THE MISS TEYANA TAYLOR HERSELF!!! Keep up the good work Tyler!!! I love ur movies & plays, and Ive never had any bad critics about any film or play you've ever made/came up with!!! WHAT A GOOD MOVIE ONCE AGAIN!!!! :-D.
I only gave this movie a 7 because Paige Hurd did a fantastic job with her role, but all of the abuse and assaults wasn't neccessary at all... The man she was staying with had no right to keep her & her own kids captured/trapped in a garage for almost a year tho... This was such a incredible story & this is why I will continue to watch as many Lifetime movies cause they always tell you something and every emotion/communication clues get so realistic in their movies... I really wasn't expecting Paige to go thru all of this chaos tho. She done very well in all of her other movies but I bet this one made her very uncomfortable to be in. I feel sorry for the real life Laura Cowan. What a devastating nightmare....
