I had a lump in my throat the whole time I watched this. Care homes are constantly open for positions due to the stigma and fast turn around of staff, yet it's one of the most emotionally and physically demanding jobs out there. Many people get jobs as carers and continue to struggle financially, and get burnt out. This film highlights this, alongside the stresses and moral dilemmas within a broken system during the pandemic and beforehand.
Overall a tremendous TV drama, and very hard hitting due to the aspects of realism. The acting, the cinematography, and the writing is some of the best I've seen in a long time. Stephen Graham and Jodie Comer's talent and on-screen chemistry is very rare. I cannot wait to see more films/series with them both together again. They better win a few awards for this one.

There's not really much I can say other than to go and watch it! I binge watch every season when they come out. It's got this really awkward and sarcastic sense of humour about it which satisfies my British humour perfectly. It reminds me a LOT of another series I love called Motherland.
I love that the producers of Workin' Moms always add little shocking storylines which the viewer doesn't expect as well, it makes it even more ridiculous and amusing to watch.
Ps. I promise you do get over Catherine Reitman's lips after a while and I think they add something to her character anyways.
