I am very happy that other people liked this movie. Sadly, I was bored with the pithy one-liners and gags. I understand that this movie satirized movies of this genre but. Uh. "I Get To Kill A Hundred Yous? F*** Yeah, I'm Ready!" Not interesting or witty. I now find cgi boring and unsurprising.
Now if you are looking for some absolutely pointless entertainment this is 100% the movie for you. If you want smart wit and something that sparks curiosity and excitement, not so much.
I really wasted too like it. The thing is a review is no more than a subjective opinion shaped by an individuals' preferences and opinions. This was subjectively bad.

I'm a pretty big fan of police/first-responder/hospital type shows. But this one just tires me with SO MUCH overacting. The main characters are mostly ego-driven charicatures. I really wanted to get behind some of the main characters, but I didn't really like anyone. The characters are not written with any sense of moderation and they all seem to fly off the handle at the slightest provocation. Not a quality that belongs in a firefighter I suspect. This is not a Shondaland winner in my opinion. This series had promise with the Grey's tie-in but... meh. I have given it a shot with 19 episodes but that's it for me.
