  • I gave it a ten for the ratings to go up

I know the movie doesn't deserve this rating but it also doesn't deserve what people have given to it! (I would've given it a 7 otherwise.) I was almost dissuaded from watching it because of that but decided against it since I like these kinds of tropes. I was also tempted by the cast.

And it definitely delivered! Although there were parts where they could've done better but there are very few movies that are perfect. I had fun watching this and would recommend it to anyone who loves action, suspense and *spoilers!

A satisfactory ending. I don't care about there not being a twist like some people say. Sometimes a bad twist ruins a movie and I was holding my breath for that.

  • Way to ruin a show

This is the last straw! It's one thing to subtly change how something happened in the book, but another entirely to write a whole new plot!

Alicent, Aegon and Cole weren't enough, now they've ruined Aemond's character also.

As an audience, I don't care how cool you make a shot or how great the scenery is if the story is making me disgusted!

It's a shame really; for all the effort, time and money that's been dedicated to this show and is being wasted.

I almost think the blame goes back to the author for allowing these people to make adaptations of their books when they know they won't remain faithful. First TROP, and now HOTD.

  • This is even worse than I thought!

After many years of waiting anxiously for more of Tolkien's world, the first bits of information on the movie and casting along with teasers had me holding my breath, waiting to see if I'd actually be THAT disappointed.

Turns out, I had been very optimistic! This is a complete butchering of Tolkien's lore and I'm surprised the society hasn't done anything to stop this mess from escalating further!

I couldn't tolerate past the 20th minute of the first episode and I'm sure I won't watch any more episodes. Some may think I'm being too impatient but there's literally too much wrong with this pretence of a show to give it any more chance.

First of all, lore inacuracy. My friend who isn't very familiar with Arda asked me which parts were not canon, my answer was that if I see anything canon, I'll tell you. That's how accurate I think it is! And wasn't Silmarilion supposed to be absent through the show since they didn't have any rights to it? What was that excuse of and an elf doing in place of Finrod the magnificent? When did he ever swear to fight Sauron?! TheFeanorions were there too? Just what do they think they're doing?!

Second, is the acting. I don't feel connected to the characters at ALL! Tbh I didn't like the Galadriel of first and second age because I'm on the Feanorian side; but nevertheless, I respect her. This Galadriel isn't a character at all let alone a respectable one. I'd been looking forward to Celebrimbor but his chosen actor had me almost in tears. He should be younger than Galadriel!

Points for music and scenery, I especially loved the two trees. But that's about it.

  • One of the Best Persian Series

During the Iran-Iraq war, a crowded family gathers together in their old mother's garden house in fear of bombardment in Tehran. The story ensues their never ending conflicts, gives views of life in the 80s and how the main character, a teenagers named Amir, deals with his problems. To me, Vaziat Sefid (Condition white) is one of the best Persian series if not The best.
