This movie is about an underwater base in the deepest known spot of the ocean, the Marianna trench. Down there things get really messy when the system for unknown reasons fails and the base is falling apart. The survivors are trying to figure out what's going on while they're trying a way up to the surface. The enormous pressure down there is not making it any easier either. But their worst enemy is not the natural enviroment but some malevolent form of life.
It's an entertaining movie with really nice special effects but the character development and the acting are pretty mediocre. Same goes as for the scenario which has so many holes. Despite these issues it's a decemt movie that can keep you vigilant for as long as it lasts.
This movie is about a westerner who serve as a doctor in Laos. After accidentaly killing an Australian tourist while trying to protect a local girl he's getting into deep trouble. The viewer is following the protagonist in his struggle to escape from Laos evading the police forces. In that motive you get a very solid thriller that's going to keep you in a constant anxiety, while the main character is going through serious hardship. He's going to be on the edge throughout the whole movie and you're going to be so too. Give it a shot, it's worth it.
I really liked this one. Its geniune plot and the moral dilemma not only the protagonist but also the viewer is put on makes the movie an outstanding way to spend your free evening. I won't go through details about the plot because it may ruin it for people who want to watch it, but I shall write that anyone willing to watch it should be prepared for suprises. Morality and family are the central points the movie is trying to reach and and everyone can make his/her own conclusions. I believe that the final question that rises after watching this is what would YOU do in that case? What's higher priority in your world? Morality or family?
