It's clear that there was anticipation from the production crew about a second one... then it just never happened. This one feels unfinished and there's no actual resolution to the plot. There are still a lot of questions which have been left unanswered. I felt that the casting was okay and the account was fine save for a few of the supporting characters.
As others previously mentioned, it does give a very "twilight" vibe. Especially with that ending being so abrupt with the expectation of the next installment. Only, twilight gave us the next installment.
Overall it wasn't the worst thing I've ever wasted time on and so, therefore, 4/10.
