There is nothing better than a poetic treatment for the biopic of a poet. This movie exactly does that. All his famous poems and the circumstances of writing them are stringed together along with his inner struggles and social life.
The roles of Kumaran Ashan and Bhanumathi went to safe hands. Photography created magic at places, as in the case of imbibing the beauty of forest. BGM is flawless. Dialogues could be less dramatic at places. One would wish a little more colloquial accent, at least for certain characters. Sound effects are excellent, in fact that alone rendering heavily to an important event in the end.
Another poem on screen!
