The highlight of this epidisode for me was the dynamic between Det. Duncan Freeman and lawyer Grace Barlow. Colleagues assuming he has "the hots" for her, but they were totally wrong.
This story, as usual, starts with a gritty murder, yet as the investigation proceeds there are a couple of surprises that change everything the viewers may have assumed.
It demonstrates the length to which some people in decent jobs will go to protect their image. One such incident is in this story.
Sergeant Matt Ryan seems to have a better grip on his new position, and is enjoying the authority he can now exert.

I first saw this morning broadcast in a medical waiting room. As lover of words and word games, was immediately drawn to this unique quiz show. At first I was stumped by Henry Lewis's riddles, but as I watched several more episodes, started to get a few correct answers.
I have to hand it to the riddle master, he has what it takes to create cryptic and interesting questions. He thoroughly enjoys moments when none of the contestants can solve his puzzles.
This show is definitely for those who want their brain to have a work-out. Apart from the straight general knowledge questions, the riddles are usually challenging, to say the least.
Ranvir Singh is great as the presenter and occasionally gets a riddle correct after others have failed to do so.

Although it's hard to watch the overt abuse of a teen, overall this film is an excellent portrayal of the book that Tobias Wolff wrote about his experiences as a youth.
The character studies are well done, and I liked that there was a follow-up to each main charcter in the credits. It satisfied my curiosity.
It really helped me to know that in real life, Leonardo di Caprio and Robert de Niro are the best of friends. Years later, Leo publicly giving him heartfelt compliments about him being his his mentor during the making of this film (1993} That was when their friendship began, and it continues today.
